Your ActiveFX Procedure
To begin, you’ll meet with our team and discuss the right treatment for your goals. Then, your skin will be cleansed and prepared. ActiveFX is performed using a topical anesthetic for your comfort. When you’re ready, the handpiece is applied to the skin where it administers CO2 energy. Once complete, your skin will be soothed and made ready for the rest of your day, and you can return home.
ActiveFX Results and Recovery
You’ll be given a list of detailed aftercare instructions by our team, including when you can resume your normal skincare regimen and wear makeup. It’s normal to have some redness and sensitivity (similar to a sunburn) after your treatment, but this subsides within a few days. It’s extremely important to wear sunscreen and protect yourself from sun exposure since your skin will be photosensitive. You’ll begin to see results within a few days, but it can take up to one year for your final results to emerge as your skin produces new collagen.
