Post-Operative Care and Recovery
Our team will schedule follow-up appointments after your surgery so we can monitor your progress. Again, transportation will be needed to and from our office, which may be offered by your hotel. If not, we can recommend alternative options. You will need to have a responsible adult such as a close friend or family member attend to you for the first 24 hours – if this is not possible for you, we can recommend professional care in the area. It’s generally best to remain in the area for the first week after surgery, but Dr. Trupiano will give you a more detailed estimate based on your procedure. Generally, you should wait 1-2 weeks before flying after surgery. Dr. Trupiano will ensure you have contact information for our office to follow up with any questions or concerns.
