Dermal fillers are one of the most popular ways to enhance and refresh your look by adding volume. With a quick and easy injection session, you can enjoy a naturally fuller look.
Juvéderm® is a family of dermal fillers made with hyaluronic acid, a complex sugar naturally found in your skin. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is responsible for maintaining moisture in your skin and keeping it supple. When injected under the skin, it can fill in folds and wrinkles, restoring lost volume or augmenting your features. Juvéderm is a family of dermal fillers with a selection of formulations available for many different treatment areas. Some of the most common treatments performed with dermal fillers include:
- Lip augmentation
- Nasolabial folds and marionette lines
- Chin and jawline augmentation
- Undereye bags
- Cheek augmentation
Juvéderm is an excellent option for patients looking for a younger, plumper profile without surgery. Dermal fillers come with very little risk of reaction, but our injections team and Dr. Trupiano can help you determine whether Juvéderm is the best option for your goals. There are many different formulations of Juvéderm, and our team can help you determine which one is best for your treatment area. In order to be considered a good candidate for Juvéderm, you should be in overall good health and have realistic expectations about what fillers can achieve. If your aging signs are more severe or you want more transformative changes to your features, you may need to discuss alternatives like surgery.
Juvéderm can be administered in a quick, 15-minute session. To begin, you’ll consult our injectors to determine the right treatment plan for your goals. Then, your treatment area will be cleansed, and the product will be placed under the skin using a very fine needle. Most patients don’t require an anesthetic for Juvéderm injections. Once complete, you can return home with aftercare steps from our team.
Although you’ll see instant results with Juvéderm, it can take 1-2 weeks for your results to fully settle in. During the first few days, you should avoid exercising or being in hot environments. Also avoid massaging the area and instead use ice packs to manage any swelling or discomfort. It’s normal to have some minor bruising and redness, but these symptoms subside within a few days. After two weeks, if you’re unsatisfied with your results, you can return for additional units. Each formulation of Juvéderm can last for a different amount of time, but dermal fillers typically last around one year, making them a great investment in your confidence.

I’ve had Dr. Trupiano do my Botox and filler for years – he always does a great job. I have recommended him to several of my friends and they are all as happy with his work as I am. Dr. Trupiano is conscientious and meticulous. I highly recommend him!!
