Your Juvéderm Procedure
Juvéderm can be administered in a quick, 15-minute session. To begin, you’ll consult our injectors to determine the right treatment plan for your goals. Then, your treatment area will be cleansed, and the product will be placed under the skin using a very fine needle. Most patients don’t require an anesthetic for Juvéderm injections. Once complete, you can return home with aftercare steps from our team.
Juvéderm Results and Recovery
Although you’ll see instant results with Juvéderm, it can take 1-2 weeks for your results to fully settle in. During the first few days, you should avoid exercising or being in hot environments. Also avoid massaging the area and instead use ice packs to manage any swelling or discomfort. It’s normal to have some minor bruising and redness, but these symptoms subside within a few days. After two weeks, if you’re unsatisfied with your results, you can return for additional units. Each formulation of Juvéderm can last for a different amount of time, but dermal fillers typically last around one year, making them a great investment in your confidence.
